THE ICE STORM - 2007

The following is an email from Jason Cortassa, the Director of Information Technology at Global Power Equipment Group.  The email is in response to the recent ice storm that blanketed Oklahoma and the service that Global Power received from Perimeter Technology.  The email was unsolicited and reprinted with Mr. Cortassa’s permission. 

Steve,
I wanted to congratulate PTC for a job well done during last week’s disastrous event.  Without PTC, Braden and GPEG would have been down for at least three days.  Due to your impeccable service, all of our business critical and non-critical servers were only down for approx four hours on Monday morning.  This down time was only due to the re-location of servers not located at PTC.

Those who either had working internet at their residence or went to GPEG were able to work and minimize productivity lose.  Many large companies around Tulsa were hit very hard by this disaster due to non-redundant services such as PTC and we appreciate your around the clock support.  These types of disasters are a great way to remember why we utilize PTC.
