Vidoop signs deal for secure data
Tulsa software company
Vidoop has signed a deal with
Perimeter Technology Center to use
Perimeter's secure data center to locate
computer servers for its online transactions
security business.
Vidoop has created innovative online
transaction security software that uses a series
of rotating photographs rather than a password.
It was founded in 2005 and is based in downtown
Tulsa.
Vidoop offers authentication
technology that defends against prevalent forms
of hacking, yet makes the process simpler for
users by eliminating passwords and challenge
questions. Vidoop's free consumer offering,
myVidoop.com, scheduled to launch mid-August,
offers the convenience of a secure, single
sign-on for multiple Web sites. Users select
three secret image categories from a palette,
and prove that they know their secret categories
when presented with a 12-image grid when logging
in.
